  • Hi. It's nice to see you. Thanks for stopping by.

Palisades is a band from Lexington, KY. Since 2009, we've shared stages with Amy Lavere, These United States, The Henry Clay People, Rich Robinson, Gringo Star, and other fine folks. We make loud pop music with guitar, bass, and drums.

We like Big Star, and Husker Du, and Elvis Costello, and lots of music from Memphis. And other things, too.

You can sample or buy our first e.p. from this page. Drop us a line: palisades.ky@gmail.com

    Thanks,
    scott, neil, and mark

about

"...somewhere between the groundswell energy of the music and lyrics that are at once intimate and meditative but also worldly wise, the songs charge ahead, each with its own personality."

Bianca Spriggs, ACE Weekly.

"Palisades are a three-piece outfit working in a musical vein that manages to recall the early-nineties heyday of post-punk college radio while avoiding its atonal excesses and navel-gazing attitudes; instead there’s a reverence for both noisy guitars and the well-crafted pop song."

Keith Halliday, North of Center.
